Love is love

Next month Australia will have their say on marriage equality through a postal vote. A yes vote can change so many lives - it may not be law yet but it will put enough pressure on the government to make something happen.

As a wedding photographer: this is extremely important to me. It's also important to put faces to the campaign. I want five same-sex couples from Brisbane, Moreton Bay, or Sunshine Coast to share THEIR story with me. I want those couples to share why marriage equality will absolutely change their lives. I want them to tell me about their dream wedding, their love and their dreams for the future.

For five weeks between September 12th to November 15th I want to feature one couple in this blog. These beautiful couples will also get a complimentary photo shoot at a beautiful outdoor location somewhere around Brisbane, Moreton Bay or Sunshine Coast.

I want these stories to be heard. Each of these five couples will also automatically be entered in a competition to win five hours of wedding photography ($1,500 value!) by Skylight Snapshots entirely for free. The couple with the most shares, comments, likes and loves on their blog entry by November 15th will win the incredible prize.

3. Tell me about how allowing marriage equality will change YOUR lives.

Terms and Conditions

1. The complimentary photo shoot must occur on a weekday.

2. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you allow Skylight Snapshots to use images from your wedding or photo shoot in future marketing material.

3. The winning couple is advised to let Skylight Snapshots know of their wedding date as far in as possible advance. Skylight Snapshots will make reasonable efforts to cover the event however in the case that Skylight Snapshots is unavailable, sick or injured the five hours photography prize is then transferable for five hours of photography services of the couples' choice.

4. The five hours photography prize is valid for up to two years after the legislation allowing same-sex couples to marry goes through.

5. The wedding must occur within South East Queensland.

6. Only same-sex couples are eligible to enter this competition.

7. By entering this competition you will automatically be added to Skylight Snapshots mailing list. You may opt out any time.
