The little things we sometimes forget

A lot of clients ask for photographs of specific people, specific moments... but never really specific details. When you think about it... it doesn't really make much sense! You're about to get married, so do you just wear the closest thing resembling clothes or do you carefully plan out what you're wearing? I mean that's why the wedding dress industry is massive - the details really do matter otherwise why spend ALL that money?

The same can be said for decorations, cakes, flowers... pretty much everything! You put so much time and effort into decorating your venue, organising your cake... and yet you totally forget about the little details! Yes, it adds to experience on the day but it is absolutely something worth remembering - it just takes you back to the moment. That's why yes, small details should be included in your album and not just left in a drawer to rot forever. I will always aim to capture the beautiful little details of your event first and foremost.

The below images are from a beautiful Indian baby shower I photographed a few months ago. Without capturing details such as these the whole event seems more like a general gathering rather than something so much more special!

Always remember, the beauty is in the details.
