The perfect photo... but unfortunate timing!

Earlier today I had a huge dilemma! It started off fine (as it always does!)

My client wanted to go with the Birthday Collection - to celebrate the child's birthday the next month. They lived in Caboolture however they were visiting a friend in Narangba This wasn't the easiest photo shoot - the little boy was absolutely adorable as always but the park had a LOT of distractions. I had to try and make the boy laugh and look at me... while everything else in the park was more exciting!

I finally got him smiling, and laughing... and then... this.

"The BEST smiling shot I got looks like the child was picking his nose"

I was going crazy at the time thinking "aaahh no! how can I deliver this?!" The BEST smiling shot I got looks like the child was picking his nose! Cue about ten minutes of worry and stress about how I could possibly deliver this and imply their child was picking his nose (he wasn't actually!)

Turns out I didn't need to stress because I managed to get a lot of other shots I loved once we moved to a different location.

He said he found a tiger though, so everything turned out okay.

Moral of the story? I need to stress less, haha. Kids are sometimes hard to photograph because the world is ever so exciting to them but you can capture some of the most beautiful images of them which makes it definitely worth it.

Until next time
